This free event is open to the entire community, including Penn State students, Central Pennsylvania citizens, and Penn State alumni, as well as all others near and far who are interested in learning about child sexual abuse, and how to move forward in a constructive way. This will be a first-come, first-served event. Confirmed registrants of the Child Sexual Abuse Conference will automatically receive access to this event.
Four panelists will share personal experiences in the multiple roles they have — as a survivor, as professionals who help children and families who are victims of abuse, and as advocates for children and better child protection laws. Through an extended Q&A period, the panel intends to encourage a wider community dialogue about this national problem and next steps that can be taken to move forward with more informed minds and fully engaged hearts.
